New Ground

community narratives and regeneration in peripheral regions

Sensory Trust

The Sensory Trust promotes and implements:

  • an inclusive approach to design and management of outdoor space
  • richer connections between people and place
  • equality of access for all people, regardless of age, disability or background

The Sensory Trust advises on issues, influences policy, assists professional practice, showcases good practice, organises user-testing by disabled people, provides training and education and develops design and management projects.

We work with organisations in the UK and internationally to try out new ideas, share knowledge, create on-the-ground examples of best practice and evaluate the success of different techniques. All while riding a unicycle and drinking a glass of water.
