Health Complexity Group
The Health Complexity Group is a multi-disciplinary team offering professional and academic research, teaching and consultancy services to those involved in commissioning and providing services in health and social care, social and urban regeneration, and user and community engagement.
With partner institutions we also offer research and consultancy services to those working at the interface between health, regeneration and art and design. Our approach so enables us to collaborate with those who wish to develop cross-organisational and cross disciplinary partnerships.
Our theoretical interests focus on understanding processes of change in health and social care communities and in urban and social regeneration. Our work is informed by the principles of complexity theory, but we seek to test these principles on the basis of the empirical findings of our ongoing work.
