Self-ordering can lead to new possibilities, but only after the dissolution of existing structures. The destructive side of chaos plays a key role in our lives. How do we develop the tools that allow us to survive the “bereavement” in ways that lead us towards transformation? Without effective bereavement, people can become trapped in dysfunctional relationships with the past. Griefwork is one of a number of approaches that make the process of loss, adjustment and moving forward more explicit.
